In supporting the implementation of Good Corporate Governance, SMK has formed an Audit Committee whose task is to assist the Board of Commissioners in maintaining all activities within the company to comply with the law.
In line with the Company's objectives, the Company's management always strive to enhance the value and positive image of the Company. Thefore since the beginning the Company has commited to implementing Good Corporate Governance (GCG). The company acknowledges GCG as the guidance not only for running its business activities but also for making decision and taking action. Every decision and action taken by the Company, its Board and management is guided by GCG principles: transparency, accountability, responsibility, independency and fairness.
The Company is aware of the obligation to implement best practice GCG.
The application of these principles is carried out by the Company by taking prudent decisions in terms of risk in running its business activitie, in order to create products and provide valuable services to customers, provide employment opportunities for employees and create value added for shareholders.
GCG establishes clear roles and accountabilities for all employees at every level of the organization. As that is the Company's commitment in creating value added for the shareholders.
